This vessel is a Ranch Incised jar that was found in 1933 along the St. Francis River. The motif consists of nested, semi-circular lines that produce a fish scale effect. The motif goes all the way around the bottom of the vessel. Notching is present around the exterior of the rim. At one time there were four strap handles, each decorated with punctations and two applied nodes.
